CRAFT LEADER - The Craft Leader will be responsible for planning a themed craft(s) for VBS, gathering supplies, training the staff how to make the craft(s) and prepping "craft boxes" for each day of VBS. if you love to be creative and get messy this is the ministry for you.

GAME LEADER - The game leader will be responsible for picking fun and exciting games that focus on spiritual warfare, and the scriptures we use to fight. As game leader, you will need to pick 3-6 games for each of the 2 age groups, gather supplies for the games, train the staff how to play and apply each game to the VBS theme, and prep "game boxes'' for each day of VBS. The game time is used as a fun time of challenge, competition, good sportsmanship, and scripture strengthening, If you love to have fun and be silly right along with the kids, then perhaps this is the ministry for you. 

MENTOR HELPER - The Mentor Helper will help their Mentor Leader any way they need. This ministry description is infinite. From taking small ones to the bathroom, delivering snacks, praying with a child who needs encouragement, to sharing your testimony of Jesus in your life; this is a packed job. Mentor Helpers, along with their Mentor Leader, are with the kids the whole entire day. If you love kids and feel the Lord calling you to connect with them in this way, then this is the ministry for you. 

DECORATION LEADER - The Decoration Leader will be responsible for planning themed decorations to dress up the main teaching area, mentor spots, and any other locations they are inspired to transform. As the decoration leader, you would need to pick and plan ideas and gather supplies. You will also be responsible to lead a decorating party scheduled the week before VBS for "all hands on deck"! This is usually a fun time of fellowship and excitement as the VBS is officially starting to take shape (and color)! If you have a desire to inspire with art, then this is the ministry for you. 

SNACK AND LUNCH COORDINATOR - CCBF desires to supply two snacks and a lunch for each child, each day during VBS. The coordinator will oversee finding an affordable way to supply healthy, fun foods as well as organize the prep and delivery of the food each day to VBS. If feeding people is your passion, then this is the ministry for you. 

ADVERTISING COORDINATOR - The Advertising Coordinator will be responsible for planning and designing flyers, signs, and social media advertisement to get the word out! If you're quick with words and "connected'' in social media, this is the ministry for you. 

SKIT LEADER - This is a new ministry opportunity that has not been officially defined. VBS is an outreach opportunity to the kids in our community as well as their families. Each VBS is followed up by a special Sunday service in which the kids perform/present a skit or song they learned in VBS for their parents and family. The Skit Leader will be asked to come up with a skit, song, performance, etc, That would be a fun and engaging way to remember their time in VBS as well as minister to their families.

ASSISTANTS - The Assistants are the backbone of VBS. This vital role, which is essential to the health and well-being of everyone at VBS, lightens the load for all involved. As as Assistant you may be asked to help your assigned leader prep and plan through the summer, or you may simply come for the VBS event and assist your leader then.
